Schools Initiative

Get your school involved and promote healthy, active lifestyles from an early age.

Join the McGrath Wollongong Running Festival schools competition by creating a school team. For every student entry in your school's team, we will donate $5 back to your school!

The school with the most registrations will win $500, and the inaugural perpetual trophy - so make sure you get your school team organised and get as many students involved as possible.

If you would like James, our Kids Run Coach to come to your school for a FREE running session, please call 1300 942 895 to make a booking.

Corporate Initiative

This year there will be a corporate teams initiative as part of the McGrath Wollongong Running Festival.

This initiative is to promote staff wellbeing, fitness and engagement at work. There will be a fantastic wellness package, sponsored by SAVVY, valued up to $1,000 for the corporate team with the most participants, as well as the inaugural perpetual trophy that you won't want to miss out on.

In the lead up to the race you will be able to see who's signed up as part of your team and encourage each other's training.

Make sure you get your team ready NOW and start getting as many colleagues involved as possible. We can't wait to have you as part of the McGrath Wollongong Running Festival.

Teams Initiative

Grab your group of friends together and commit to the 2024 McGrath Wollongong Running Festival on Sunday 2 June.

There is no course quite like this one, with its stunning ocean views and amazing course atmosphere. So why not start gathering your friends, family, gym buddies and running groups and register a team together to help keep each other accountable and motivated.

We know you won’t regret it!

Team Entry Registration Process

  • Click on the Wollongong Running Festival registration link.

    Teams from 2023 have already been created. Please click on the “Join A Team” tab towards the bottom of the page and you will be able to see if your team is already registered.

    If your team is already registered, click on your team from the list. You will then need to fill out the rest of your details to complete the registration process. Once you’ve finished, you are automatically added to your team.

  • Click on the Wollongong Running Festival registration link.

    If you can’t see your team name in the “Join A Team” tab, then you will need to select the “Create A New Team” tab and enter the team's name as part of your registration for the race.

    You will then need to fill out the rest of your details to complete the registration process.

    Once you’ve finished, your new team will be added to the teams list.
